History of the kennel. 

Westorps kennel is located in the heart of Västergötland, near the town Hjo by Lake Vättern. 

The first Västgötaspetsen moved here in 1988. His name was Jampen and he was a wonderful dog that everyone liked very much. Then we had dairy cows on the farm that Jampen herded when necessary. After him we have always had this breed on our farm. 

We don't have any cows left on the farm, but we do have some young animals and grain growing. 

Me, Annika is a preschool teacher and my husband Peter is a farmer and runs our farm. We breed the breed as a hobby and have one or two litters per year. The first litter was born in January 2003.

We like to go to dogshow in our Nordic countries.
